Our Pastor

Pastor McDaniel’s passion for ministry began at a young age. At just nine years old, he was baptized in the name of Jesus, and at eighteen, he received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. As a child, he found joy in music—joining the school band in the fourth grade and later earning a music scholarship to Morris Brown College. His musical gifts made room for him at Emmanuel Temple, where he served faithfully as a drummer and bass guitarist, using his talent to usher in the presence of God and inspire others to worship.
In 2000, Pastor McDaniel heard and answered the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He attended Aenon Bible College, where he was ordained to the office of Elder. Under the loving guidance and spiritual leadership of his father, Bishop Calvin Lee McDaniel, Sr., he served faithfully at Emmanuel Temple—learning the true heart of ministry through service, humility, and steadfast devotion to God’s people.

On March 16, 2024, Pastor McDaniel was elected as Pastor of Emmanuel Temple Apostolic Church at Westside Community CME Church, and on May 4th, he was installed with great joy and celebration at Emmanuel Temple. His ministry is marked by sound doctrine, powerful preaching, and a sincere desire to see souls saved, lives restored, and hearts transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor McDaniel is blessed to share life and ministry with his loving and devoted wife, Lady Kimberly D. McDaniel, his partner in purpose and prayer. Together they are the proud parents of a beautiful, blended family of nine.
With a shepherd’s heart and a servant’s spirit, Pastor Calvin L. McDaniel II continues to walk faithfully in his divine assignment—committed to building God’s Kingdom, empowering believers, and proclaiming the unchanging Gospel of Jesus Christ with power, wisdom, and grace.
